Thuggie's Success Story

After much meowing and misery, we have finally decided to let the domesticated barn cat venture outside and enjoy the weather. We were really concerned because we live on a busy corner where people blast through the stop sign without a care. Luckily, all those months Thuggie has spent sitting on the back of the couch observing traffic patterns has seemed to have worked in our favor. Thuggie has no interest in being out front, and has been the best boy in the back yard, not venturing out of the fence. He is a true gardener at heart and spends his time smelling the flowers and rolling on his back.
NEW TOYS!
Baby Kate!
I am happy to announce the birth of my niece, Kate Evelyn Moschetti (named after Great Grandma Evelyn Parrot, and Grandma Josephine Evelyn Lee), on my birthday, June 23rd 2009 at 12:06 am! She weighed 9.1 lbs, and was 21 inches long. We are so excited to finally have her out- she's already displaying her personality... stubborn. She was 12 days late. Cori tried castor oil, and was on a 48 hour pitocin drip before she finally started labor. Man oh man. This is probably just the beginning Cori! Regardless, I couldn't ask for a better birthday gift and we are happy mom and baby are healthy.

Trisha takes a bite out of the big apple.

Not really.
But it was awesome hanging out with my dear friend Jenn, her boyfriend Todd and their adorable American Bulldog, Bentley and of course, the kitty cats.
Jenn and Todd have a great apartment in the Flatiron neighborhood- it's close to everything. We had a fabulous time drinking wine at the Central Park boathouse, watching the weird roller skating party, going to brunch, shopping, speak easy bars, catching up, etc. etc. Thanks Jenn for letting me be so indulgent in my vampire book!!
