Carter's first day on solids

What a messy endeavor this was! So far we've tried sweet potatoes and bananas and he's not too enthusiastic about either one. He looks at me with a very confused look on his face, spits them out and pushes my hand away. What I want to know is how can an 17 pound little baby be so opinionated?

Carter is all smiles these days. He got a real kick out of swimming in the pool every day. He loved to have Chris and I push him around in his little tent floatie.

Carter loved Auntie Ellie, but not as much as she loved him!
